Only those of whom have signed up may participate. We shall begin...hush, hush, wait for it...now!

Croaker and his friends were impatient with the old fool who kept after them. "Wait, wait!" the old man would cry. "It is important that you listen! It affects all of us!" Drunk, Croaker thought. "It has to do with Khadi's Banner!" wailed the old man. Every one Croaker's friends' heads swished towards the old man. Twelve eyes studied him suspiciously. Croaker said, "What do you mean, old one?"

Nobody expects the Elvish Inquisition! That is our chief weapon; suprise, suprise and fear, our two chief weapons. Suprise, fear, and ruthless effeciency, our three main weapons. Suprise, fear, ruthless effeciency, and almost fanatical devotion to Elbereth. Oh, bugger!

(scince Croaker hasn't posted, I assume he means for us to start it off.)

"I mean," said the old man, "That I know what happened to the Banner of Khadi."

Tulkas's eyes gleamed with interest, "Where is it, Old One?"

The old looks up at the Young figure before him, "For many generations of men the Family of Khadi lived in the village of my youth. All knew that the Standard of Khadi was their most prized possesion. When I was a mere youngster, the Village was raided. The family of Khadi was slain, as well as most everyone else, and the Standard stolen. The Raiders fly the Banner in their camp. Please recover it. I beseach you recover the Standard from the hands of these murderers. Go to the Town at the crossroads, there you will find out where the raiders are."

Tulkus looks about at his companions, "I will go, for a power like the Standard of Khadi should not be in the hands of hurderers and theives. Who will go with me?"

"Hmmm..." Croaker thinks. "I too shall go. I'm guessing that we need about a half-dozen more on this kind of quest. Who else?"

*Yavanna stood in the doorway, taking in what she could. This quest was indeed more than she was searching for, but there was now a great deal of intrigue building up in her mind, and she wished to be a part of the experience.

"You there! I shall go. I may look young but i am handy to have around. No skill with bow and arrow in this middle earth match what mine is, and i dare say that your quest is perilous. So i ask your acceptance of my coming along as a helping hand when needed."
